Why Solskjaer Could Be The Answer To The Long Standing Management Problems At Old Trafford Post SAF Era

Solskjaer, Arsedevils

It’s been three games for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as Manchester United boss and all three games has been converted into three wins. Even though it has been against the so called lesser sides he has racked up three consecutive wins, many might argue Jose would have also cruised through this period with consecutive wins.

But it’s the manner in which those wins came. A 5-1 against Cardiff, 3-1 against Huddersfield, 4-1 against Bournemouth. It’s not just about the scoreline, United are now playing with the same freedom and finesse which is reminiscent of Sir Alex. Ole might just have been brought in as a temporary caretaker manager to unite the club and bring back the feel good factor, which he has done outstandingly so far.

It may be too early given that Solskjaer hasn’t actually faced a true test of his mettle, but it may not be a bad idea to hold onto him even after this season on a permanent long term basis. Many might consider this too wayward saying this is too early to hand him the job full time, but the proposition doesn’t sound that bad when the full picture is drawn. Solskjaer just might be the answer Manchester United fans have been waiting for to get over the post Ferguson hangover.

“Ole has helped him 100 per cent” : United Teammate Reveals Exactly How New Manager Has Managed to Bring out the Old Paul Pogba

Solskjaer is a club legend and knows the club, knows the values that are held highest. He has played under Ferguson and understands what’s it like to work and perform under immense pressure. If the recent performances are anything to go by, the future with Solskjaer only looks brighter. He has coached the youth team at United earlier. Solskjaer will cultivate the youth and integrate them into the first team which will comply to the requirement of developing young and home grown talent.

Solskjaer’s brand of football is reminiscent of Sir Alex’s style. He has worked with Pogba and Lingard at youth levels before. He unites the club and is a fans favorite and the current players look up to him. Ole respects the board and backroom staff because of his earlier ties to the club as a player which also garners more respect around for him.

Solskjaer is young as well and could build a dynasty like Sir Alex did by building team after team even though he constantly kept on losing key players to transfers or retirement. With Liverpool currently looking to start their era of dominance, Solskjaer could well give them a tough run in by competing with them and pushing them to the edge.

Even if results falter under him during a bad phase his positive style of play, attacking mindset, and attitude will make it harder for the board to sack him.
