Ivan Perisic was constantly linked with a move to Arsenal last season and the story drags on to this time around as well but with competition from league rivals.
A hunt for a quality winger commenced last summer at the Emirates but with no decent results. Denis Suarez, who could’ve played a wide role, turned out to be a more redundant signing than Kim Kallstrom ever was.
However, there was a time when the Gunners were linked with a move for Perisic, which looked promising as well. Fans did not mind the prospect of his arrival either as a decent winger was (and is) a big necessity at Arsenal.
Eventually, a deal failed to materialise and that seemed to be the end of it till now. The Croatian has been touted for a possible switch to North London by FC Inter News.
As per the Italian outlet, the winger is completely aware of him not being included in the plans of newly appointed boss Antonio Conte. Moreover, it is also said that his agent, Nelio Lucas, is actively looking for suitors around Europe, especially England.
Meanwhile, Inter Milan are said to be holding out for a payment around the rage of £30-£35 million, which is a ridiculous for a player of his standards and age. The 30-year-old probably does not have more than a couple of years worth of admirable service and spending over £30 million on him would mean bad business.
Nevertheless, the Croatian international is not short of suitors as Arsenal along with Leicester City and Wolverhampton are said to be interested in his services.

However, the forward is put off by the general stature of Leicester and Wolves.
The Inter star recorded 9 goals and 5 assists across all competitions last season whilst making 34 starts. This is certainly decent numbers compared to already existing wingers at the Emirates Alex Iwobi and Henrikh Mkhitaryan, but definitely not worth £35 million.
Unai Emery’s side is believed to be interested in Yannick Carrasco and Ryan Fraser, both of whom have recorded better numbers, are younger and still cost less. There’s no doubt that there are better options in the market.
