Sensational 4-3-3 | Here is Exactly How Manchester United Will Line-up To Beat Spurs

Tottenham Vs United, united predicted lineup

After equaling the record of the best start as a manager of Manchester United, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer would be hoping to surpass that by becoming the only United manager to win his first six games in charge. After beating Cardiff, Huddersfield, Bournemouth, Newcastle, and Reading in his first 5 games in charge, the team’s confidence and morale has been boosted for the Tottenham vs United game.

United board were thoughtful about the run of fixtures when they sacked Jose and brought in Ole, and many would consider his impact unthinkable. His job has been somewhat extraordinary as he liberated the players and brought back the feel and the good factor among them.

Many senior players want him to stay on as their permanent manager but the decision can’t be taken on just the recent fixtures and emotions. The Tottenham vs United game is the perfect audition for the long term job. The game against Spurs would be his first true test which will start a run of tricky and tough fixtures which will last till mid March.

Here’s the predicted lineup of the Red Devils for the Tottenham Vs United fixture:

Ole is enjoying great success with his selection of players and would be relying his starting 11 to do the job for him on Sunday.

Moreover, United received the injury boost ahead of the Tottenham Vs United clash as mentioned by Solskjaer. So, it is highly unlikely for him to make any changes to the starting XI.

Formation : 4-3-3

Solskjaer has been clearly bringing the best out of Paul Pogba by sticking to the set up which he inherited and would be continuing with it.

Manchester United Predicted Line-Up

Goalkeeper : David De Gea

No matter what his form may have been this season, there’s no one who can doubt his quality and Ole would be sticking to the world’s number one goalkeeper for his biggest game yet.

Defense : Valencia, Lindelof, Jones, Shaw

Having fallen out of favor with Jose, Valencia seems to be back in the picture with Ole sticking the captaincy with him. His recent performances have been good to start ahead of Dalot and Young.

Lindelof and Jones have impressed so far under Ole and he would be keen to stick to his strongest defensive partnership with Bailly still ruled out for two games.

Shaw is undergoing the best season of his career at Old Trafford having been given a restart by Jose at the beginning of the season. The left-back would look to put in a strong display for the Tottenham Vs United match.

Midfield : Herrera, Matic, Pogba

Ole is bound to stick to the midfield trio he has started with in his first four league games with Herrera, Matic and Pogba.

The versatility of Herrera in attack and defense is starting to bring the best out of both Matic and Pogba. Nemanja Matic is starting to look like the player he was when Chelsea won the league titles in 14/15 and 16/17 seasons by initiating most of United’s attack and stifling any attacks that build up against them.

Pogba can now roam freely and link up with the front three more often with Herrera and Matic behind him. It relieves the Frenchman the defensive load which was continually eating up his attacking output.

Attack : Lingard, Rashford, Martial

With the Tottenham Vs United game set to be at a high pace and tempo, Jesse Lingard would pip Mata to start on the right as there would be the utmost need for high press and closing down on opposition. Lingard obviously does that job better than Mata.

Even though both the forwards have been on striking form under Solskjaer, Rashford would preferably start ahead of the Belgian. The palpable explanation for this being the English forward doing nothing wrong so far, and Lukaku would be of much greater threat coming off the bench.

With Rashford playing through the middle, and Sanchez injured at least for the Tottenham Vs United game, Martial is the obvious pick as Lukaku won’t be pushed out wide and neither Rashford. And his performances have been good enough to keep him at the top of the pecking order for the place on the left flank.
