“I believe in these players and now I am very happy with these players who are working hard every day,” the Spaniard said [via Express]. “On Monday we will also get the players returning from the World Cup.[spacer height=”30px”]

“For me, if there is a possibility to sign another player, it isn’t important now, but while the window is open we can discuss the possibility.”[spacer height=”30px”]

[spacer height=”30px”]He did also confirm that Nigerian midfielder Alex Iwobi is likely to sign a new contract at the club, saying:[spacer height=”30px”]

“I have the information, he is near. Ozil, Elneny and Iwobi are working with us – my first impression is very good.[spacer height=”30px”]

“My information is he will sign to stay with us.”[spacer height=”30px”]

[spacer height=”30px”]The Londoners face off against Paris Saint-Germain in Singapore on Saturday, the second and final match of their Asian tour after a 1-1 draw against Atletico Madrid ended in a defeat on penalties.[spacer height=”30px”]

[spacer height=”30px”]The friendly match might offer the gaffer a chance to remind his former employees what they are missing out on is more focused on ensuring his side are ready for a Premier League campaign that kicks off against Manchester City on Sunday, August 12.[spacer height=”30px”]

“For us, it’s about continuing our preparations,” said the Gunners’ boss.[spacer height=”30px”]

“It’s another match but we don’t want to change our focus. Our focus is to get every player up to speed and work on tactical things to get better for when we start [Premier League] competition.[spacer height=”30px”]

[spacer height=”30px”]“I am very grateful to PSG. It was a good experience, a good moment in my career. Now we are going to play tomorrow against a big, big club with big players.[spacer height=”30px”]

They won’t have every player on the pitch tomorrow because they are on holiday, but for me it’s important for our preparation.[spacer height=”30px”]

[spacer height=”30px”]“It will also be nice for me to meet my friends who I worked with at Paris Saint-Germain.”[spacer height=”30px”]
