HUGE | Manchester United Formally Make Approach For Sensational £70m Borussia Dortmund Winger However There Is A Huge Catch

Jadon Sancho

According to reports in the English press, Manchester United are planning to launch a raid for Jadon Sancho in the next summer window and have officially made an approach enquiring about his price tag.

The 18-year-old Borrusia Dortmund sensation has been in incredible form this season. The English Wonder kid has already scored 8 goals and provided 10 assists in all competitions for the Bundesliga side. Not only have his individual performances been noteworthy, he has also helped his club rise to the top of the Bundesliga charts this season.

This is led to huge interest from most of the biggest powerhouses of European football including the likes of Manchester United and Real Madrid.

Another key aspect behind United’s interest in securing his services may also stem from the fact that he is an English player, which will also help them in completing the English quota of players. Jadon Sancho is a very young player and has tremendous potential, which has been pretty evident with the success and plaudits that he has received on the field so far this season.

However, coming all the way to England so soon and performing at a huge club like Manchester United will also be a gigantic task. Manchester United have off late have started to believe in youth and their academy talents by giving them regular chances to succeed as well.

The success stories of Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial, Diego Dalot and Lindelof will give Jadon Sancho a very much justified confidence and morale booster if he does indeed decide to move to the red side of Manchester.

Borrusia Dortmund have already lost a key young talent in the form of Christian Pulisic to Chelsea and now rumours of Sancho to be also on the move, may be a massive cause of concern for them. Possible due to this very reason, Dortmund certainly wouldn’t let their prized asset leave that easily and are much more likely to drive a very hard bargain for one of the biggest talents in world football right now.

Considering his very young age and the mesmerising potential that he has, Dortmund will surely resist any offers they deem insignificant for Jadon Sancho, for as long as they can. Dortmund have traditionally nurtured many young talents over the years who have all gone on to become the biggest stars in their succeeding clubs like Lewandowski, Hummels, Dembele, Mkhitaryan, Gotze, Aubameyang to only name a few.

Hence it is only natural that money is not their immediate priority right now, challenging for the biggest honours by having the best players like Jadon Sancho, in their squad, is what they will surely be looking to focus on.

Moreover United are certainly not the only big club there keeping an eye on the English prodigy with clubs like Chelsea, Arsenal, Tottenham, and Liverpool also reportedly interested in him. That being said, United do seem pretty serious and have registered an official interest in the player, by enquiring about his valuation, but there is a massive stumbling block to the deal.

What further complicates the move is the fact that Manchester City are supposed to have a 15% sell on clause in the English Winger’s contract which may make his transfer further more expensive for United if they are to actually proceed with securing Jordan Sancho during the summer.
