Manchester United Legend Shockingly Urges Ole Gunnar To Get Rid of This £45 Million Star Attacker

Alexis Sanchez, United Vs PSG, Sanchez, solskjaer decision to sell sanchez

Former Man United winger Andrei Kanchelskis is convinced that Alexis Sanchez career at Man United has been similar to that of Fernando Torres at Chelsea.

When asked about Sanchez, Kanchelskis told bWIN:

“Sanchez is at risk of finishing his career in the same way Torres did at Chelsea,

Alexis Sanchez has been out with a knee ligament injury after being forced off against Southampton last weekend. The former Barcelona man has had a very poor record with the Man United side scoring just 3 goals in 29 appearances in the Premier League.

To make the matters worse, Alexis Sanchez is Man United’s best-paid player with a contract which expires at 2022.

Despite barely settling into his highly controversial transfer from Arsenal to United in a swap deal involving Henrikh Mkhitaryan going the other way, another move seems to be on the cards and pundits and fans alike are calling for United to sell their highest paid player as early as possible.

Speaking exclusively to Bwin, Kanchelskis said in his rather extensive interview about what he thinks is the right way forward for the club and Alexis Sanchez saying :

“Torres was the main man at Atletico Madrid and Liverpool, but he is now remembered for the tough time he had at Chelsea.”

“Sanchez has clearly shown that he has the capability to play with the best teams in the world, but Man United doesn’t suit his style of play and he’s never looked settled into the dressing room since joining the club.”

“I’ve previously said that Ole should give him the chance to express himself as a winger, but now looking at his form and how often he’s been used, I think it’s best for Man Utd and Sanchez if he were to move on this summer.”

He also goes on prognosticating about it stating:

“I can’t see him moving to another Premier League club and I think he should move back to La Liga. I see Sanchez joining a club like Atletico Madrid as there are currently a lot of problems at Real Madrid and he wouldn’t go back to Barcelona. He will most likely have to take a pay cut, but it’s for the benefit of his career.”

Fate seems to be against Alexis, but the only person who would get him out of this mess is himself.

With the heroics of Man United against Paris Saint Germain in the Champions League, Alexis has one last chance to prove himself at the bigger stage, but will he be picked in the quarter finals by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is huge doubt.

Only thing Alexis should be thinking about right now is to get back the manager’s confidence and prove he is worthy if he wants to stay at the club or else face the cold prospect of offering his services to the handful of clubs that can actually afford his services and put himself through the entire ordeal of adjusting in a new environment once again.
