One name which has emerged quite stirringly in the Bundesliga this season is Jadon Sancho. He’s been tearing defenders apart and is becoming an integral part for the Dortmund side who are hell bent on taking the fight to Bayern Munich for the title.
It is fair to say, that Jadon Sancho has not made this Dortmund side the title contenders they are, over night all on his own. This Dortmund side has taken Lucien Favre’s tactics like ducks to water. Marco Reus’ key performances and the emergence of Paco Alcacer has also been the prominent reasons.
But what Jadon Sancho has achieved this season cannot be sidelined and let go unnoticed. He’s the top assister in the German domestic league, and has completed more dribbles than anyone in the entire division.
Currently, there are a few teams who are ready to battle it out through a bidding war to secure his services. PSG and Manchester United are a few names among them.

Manchester United are very eager to sign Sancho as the board feels he is the perfect option to fill the void down the right wing, which has been open for a long, long time. Sanchez and Mata have not been able to deliver consistently, and Lingard has moved to a more central role under Solskjaer, who has been officially declared as the next United manager on a permanent basis.
With Martial set to keep his spot on the left flank, and Rashford and Lukaku currently sharing the number nine spot, the right wing currently needs an addition amongst a list of positions which are set to be revamped in the summer, with Solskjaer at the helm.
Many might consider a big money move, this soon, a mistake. He left City, the bitter rivals of Manchester United, in 2017 to get game time. Coming back to the Premier League, just two years later, may not be considered a good idea by many.
Sancho shone against the Czech Republic in his first start for England, and bagged an assist, and would’ve scored as well, but missed a sitter.
There may not be doubts about his talent, but there are doubts whether United should move in for him this soon. With the probability that he’ll not be available for long, is a concern which may have hastened the chase.

But, it should also be considered whether if it doesn’t pan out, they’ll have to spend big all over again to look for their favorable right winger.
It’d feel like a knife to City’s guts, if United can pull this off from under the nose of the other suitors who are after his services. But, the chances of this happening are evenly matched.
Given United’s interest and the fee concerned for the teenage wonder kid, there’s a fair 50% chance of this going through.
