Solskjaer Announces Complete Squad for the Brighton fixture as Sanchez and Bailly Make Returns

Brighton, Arsedevils

As a scintillating run of form continues for United, their Caretaker Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will look to make it seven out of seven as they host the Seasgulls in the United Vs Brighton game.

The Devils are breathing fire since the departure of their Portuguese boss Jose Mourinho with six wins in as many games. They have scored 17 goals in all competitions and conceding just 3 in the process. They will line up for United Vs Brighton match on Saturday, high on confidence and momentum.

United will look to extend this goal-scoring spree when they take the field on Saturday. The ever-enthusiastic Solskjaer looked optimistic as he announced a provisional squad for the upcoming fixture against Brighton & Hove Albion.

The notable inclusions were Alexis Sanchez and Eric Bailly. The former missed the Wembley fixture last weekend after aggravating a hamstring injury while the latter joins the squad after completing a three-match ban after being sent off against Huddersfield Town.

Eric Bailly would be itching to impress his interim boss as his first deployment under him didn’t see him making a notable impact against Huddersfield Town.

Solskjaer confirmed the absence of the Belgian midfielder Marouane Fellaini for the United Vs brighton game as he might have to sit out up to four weeks with a calf injury.

Solskjaer was lucid in revealing that Fellaini is a sizeable asset to the club and he brings a certain “X-factor”. Solskjaer was quoted as saying:

“He’s got a calf problem and that’s sad because there’s X factors in different players and we all know Felli’s X factor.”

Fellaini signed a new contract until at least 2020 with United earlier in the summer. He seems pretty content under the Caretaker boss and will look to get back to his duties very soon.

The defenders Chris Smalling and Marcos Rojo are still under rehabilitation. The latter had flown to Argentina to commence his rehabilitation.

United have made quite a few statements as Solskjaer is about to finish a month at Old Trafford but what’s commendable is the kind of confidence he places on his players. This approach has worked wonders for him as players have stood up to the challenges well.

Solskjaer has to be appreciated for developing this culture within the team. When the chips are down and the stakes are low, you need characters to step up and take you through. This culture is the healthiest to give birth to such characters.

The fans hope that the best is yet to come for the baby-faced assassin as we build-up to the United Vs Brighton clash on Saturday.
