transfer, Manchester United transfer news, Daniel James

Man Utd are ready to up their game in the next transfer window. Man Utd are now unbeaten in 11 games with 10 wins and a draw with the latest win coming against Fulham today in the Premier League.

United are still in the hunt for a top 4 spot having been promoted to 5th after Arsenal losing to Man City. Although, United moved to 4th spot after today’s win against Fulham, Chelsea have played a game less with one point behind. Chelsea’s spared game is against Manchester City tomorrow and if, City beats Chelsea, United will stay put on their 4th position.

The Red Devils also face a stern challenge in the form of Paris Saint German in the Champions League. Winning against the French Champions will be some heavy task for the interim manager.

Whoever becomes the manager of Manchester United next season, will have a lot of rebuilding to do. The club is willing to splash €200 million for the would be manager in the summer transfer window.

Whoever it shall be, will have all the backing needed in the transfer window for finally making United a strong side again. The board has got some expectations from this Man Utd side as they are showing great progress under Ole Gunner Solskjaer. But, to be back in the title hunt, the club needs to at least transfer in a world class defender next summer.

United will have to improve their defensive strength quite a bit if they are to be compared with the likes of Manchester City and Liverpool.

Manchester United have got three suitable candidates for the managerial job. The first one being Mauriccio Pochettino, who is the current Tottenham Hotspurs boss. Although, lacking a trophy in his cabinet, the Argentinian has done pretty well with a low transfer budget that the Spurs offer.

Second is the ex-Real Madrid Manager Zinedine Zidane, who has won it all for Real Madrid. Winning the Champions League will be a dream for any manager but winning it three times in a row is something unreal. He would be a real asset for the Old Trafford side if he ever joins United. Moreover, the French gets the job done without even spending much in the transfer window as seen during his time with the Galacticos.

The last of them being the current gaffer Ole Solskjaer, who has done a tremendous job in keeping Man Utd chances alive for a top 4 spot. If he keeps the job, it will be well deserved of him as he has already shown us what type of attitude and swagger he can bring to this United side.

It will be interesting to see what sort of tactics Manchester United takes on this summer transfer window. Whether they could be called title challengers once again is upto the decision of the board.
