When Arsenal played hosts to Burnley FC on 6th May, lots of emotions were running around. Not specifically an important fixture but it would be a sad ending for Arsenal FC irrespective of the result being in favour of Arsenal winning 5-0.

Seeing Wenger adore the sidelines of the Emirates stadium, for almost 22 years the Frenchman has stood his ground be it at the Highbury or the Emirates or any other stadium around the world where he has witnessed Triumphs, Victory parades, Trophies, Honors, Humiliation, Losses and the Media.

It will always be difficult to fill Wenger’s shoes with someone with the same Commitment for the Club, Passion towards the game, and profound love for football which has all been Arsene’s trademarks over the years. Amidst talks that Arsenal FC are renaming the West end of the Emirates after Arsene Wenger, his presence at the Emirates will always be felt but much strongly in the future.

He is known for his tactical fluidity at Juventus and his ability to switch formations according to the right players is appreciable. He once managed to pull Juventus, who were 12th in the league after 10 games to 25 consecutive wins with eventually winning the title that season. Such is the tactical awareness of the Italian.

Defensive style of play that would not appease the Arsenal fans. Actually Juventus turned out to be less aggressive and adapted to less pressing style under him. Defensive approach makes him a favoured candidate for Chelsea.

The talks about the Spaniard has been on ever since he decided to quit the Barcelona role. He is known for his title winning stints with Barcelona but was heavily criticized for his rotation policy. He managed to win a treble at Barcelona. But his stints with AS Roma and Celta Vigo weren’t that splendid.

His style of play was criticized at Barcelona were he transformed the tiki-taka style to a direct pass style which was easily cut out by the opponents managing to lose points in important matches.

Also reports suggesting that his demand for 200 Million Euros for transfers and 16 Million Euros as fee, which is double of what Wenger is being paid makes it a surreal deal for the Arsenal Board who are known to be cautious about their spending.
