4-3-3 | Double Boost As Solskjaer Makes THREE Changes With Martial, Pogba And Rashford Starting : Strongest United Starting XI vs Wolves

Wolves Vs United

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer started his permanent reign just like he started his temporary reign, with a win. With some fans questioning his announcement prematurely, majority still believe it was right to do it now, and now United will be finally looking forward to the next three years. Next up for the Red Devils is the Wolves Vs United fixture in the Premier League.

Louis Van Gaal recently did take shots at Mourinho, Di Maria, and Ole, going on to state that the difference between Ole and Jose is that Ole is winning.

Solskjaer was brought in to unite the club, in a difficult time. But, the Norwegian has impressed so much that no one can question him being top of the list to be handed the job. He’s instilled the winning mentality back which was appearing to fade away under previous managements.

United won against Watford with two goals from Rashford and Martial, only being denied a clean sheet at the death. But the next fixture is away to Wolves at the Molinuex Stadium.

United’s last visit there came just before the international break, in the FA Cup, which they lost to a gritty and more competitive Wolves’ side. Ole would’ve surely taken notes from that Wolves Vs United game to prepare his team to win it this time.

With Tuesday’s Wolves Vs United fixture in mind, let’s take how the Red Devils could line up against them.

Predicted Line-up For The Wolves Vs United Game:

Goalkeeper: David De Gea

Even though, he was denied his clean sheet during the win over Watford, the Spaniard is still performing at a very high level and steadily getting back to his very best.

His future may be in question as PSG are publicly chasing his signature. But, United would look to tie him down and Ole is going to be very crucial in doing that.

Defense: Young, Smalling, Lindelof, Shaw

Young and Shaw are the definite picks to start in the full back slots, with Shaw apparently competing with Robertson for the team of the season spot. Shaw has been having his best season at United so far and there’s no chance that he’ll be dropped from the starting eleven.

Smalling and Lindelof are supposed to be the preferred choice, but with Bailly fit and Jones also getting chances and putting up decent performances, Ole could have a selection headache. But for his best eleven, Smalling and Lindelof are set to start for the Wolves Vs United encounter.

Midfield: Matic, Herrera, Pogba

Nemanja Matic will continue in his defensive midfield slot and will be accompanied by Pogba and Herrera in the middle of the park. Pogba has been performing very well under Solskjaer and Herrera, with his leadership and true passion, makes everyone around him work harder.

Rumours say that Herrera is all set to depart for PSG in the summer on a free transfer. Meanwhile, Pogba is continuously being linked with Real Madrid. This makes next season’s choices for midfield all the more troublesome.

Attack: Lukaku, Rashford, Martial

Lukaku and Martial will be flanking Rashford on both the wings while Marcus will play through the middle. Lukaku offers himself as a really genuine and a considerably good option down the right, as all three of the frontline can switch places causing havoc for the Wolves’ defense.

With Lukaku on the wing, less attention would be given to Rashford because of Lukaku’s strength and would open up spaces for both Martial as well as Rashford.
