The Wales International has just over an year left to run on his current deal as the club looks to avoid a repeat of last year’s fiasco involving Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez threaten to run till the last year of their contracts which led to Alexis leaving for Old trafford and Ozil penning down £350,000 euros a week contract.

Aaron Ramsey is reportedly being considered as key to Arsenal’s summer planning with the arrival of the new head coach Unai Emery who views the Welshman as the focal point of his new team and intends to build the team around him. The early signs are that the 27-year old has been uplifted by the Spaniard’s willingness to make him a crucial part of his team.
Asked last month after Wales’ 0-0 draw against Mexico whether Aaron Ramsey was excited with prospect of working with the new Spanish boss, the welshman said :
“Of course. I haven’t spoken to him at all yet, but I think it’s an exciting time for the club.
I can’t wait to get back there now.”
Aaron Ramsey, signed from Cardiff City in 2008 is the longest serving player at the club this moment and will soon mark his 10th Anninversary with the Gunners. Aaron Ramsey, when fit and in form is a brilliant asset, providing creativity and goals from the centre of the midfield above and beyond anyone else in this squad can offer and Emery will exactly look to use this to his advantage when designing the formation and style of his new team.
His natural ability to burst into the box and make those unpredictable runs in the box for the entire duration of the match tirelessly makes him a huge asset to the team and on top of that, last season Aaron Ramsey even managed to purify his game even further by greatly improving his final touch and finishing with the ball something which he has previously lacked.
As Arsene Wenger had quite often mentioned, Aaron Ramsey is now getting to that stage where he is much more matured and calm with the ball at his feet and this has enabled him to make the best decisions and even shoot in a more mature fashion resulting in that greater statistics of end product.
AaronRamsey is known to be a box-to-box player and surely has the physicality and the intelligence to make the midfield more effective and efficient and although he is known to be a bit injury prone, the new coach will have that in his mind will look to improve on that too. The new training regime, the new head of performance and different management might have a constructive influence on his injuries.
While Arsenal would have a lot to gain by selling Aaron Ramsey, building the team around him could be the better choice in the long run.
