He is the find of the season, one of the most highly regarded youngsters in the premier league and one of the most sought after strikers in Europe.
Brazilian, Gabby Martinelli, was unearthed by Arsenal’s technical director Edu for a ridiculous £7.20m in 2019.
Since the move from Ituano FC, the hot shot has shone brightly, exciting Arsenal supporters in the process but that’s led to speculation that a number of top clubs are ready to place a bid for his services including Real Madrid, Barcelona and Liverpool to name a few.
Six goals and 4 assists have earmarked Martinelli (18) as a future superstar and as the praise rains in, fans are wondering if he will remain at the Emirates.
Without question, Martinelli is probably Arsenal’s young player of the year but he’s also seen as the player Arteta can build his team around and the successor to Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
On his future, Martinelli offered crumbs of hope when he told Four,Four, Two
“I want to win the Champions League and lots of domestic titles to make Arsenal’s fans very happy.
They deserve the best – not only the supporters but all of the club’s staff.”
He added

Arsenal fans will be relieved to hear that but that doesn’t prevent the uncertainty because there are a great many that have been alerted to his talents.

Irrespective of where he goes, He has certainly managed to unite a former Manchester United player, an Arsenal player and a Liverpool manager in their opinion of him. That alone should get him his own song at the Emirates at least.
Martinelli is the one reason that Arsenal could potentially allow Aubameyang to leave in the summer and that should be the only reason that Arsenal even consider letting their talisman leave.
