According to reports from Sky Sports, Manchester City have tabled a £55m bid for Alexis Sanchez.

Previously Manchester City have had a £50m bid rejected by Arsenal for Alexis Sanchez.

Arsenal and Arsene Wenger have insisted on keeping Alexis Sanchez in the club the entire summer with Arsene Wenger refuting suggestions everytime that Alexis is set to leave in the window.

Now reports from multiple sources including Guillem Balague are all reporting that Arsenal have accepted a bid of £55m plus £5m in add ons and are waiting on securing a replacement before allowing him to leave.

In fact a article in metro has even put up a picture of him in a Manchester City Shirt during a photo shoot.

[spacer height=”30px”]

The reports also goes on to states that Alexis Sanchez has informed his International team mates that hes leaving Arsenal and moving to the Ethiad Stadium.

[spacer height=”30px”]

Meanwhile reports from Chile are confidently claiming that a deal for Alexis to City is a done deal and is just a matter of time before it is confirmed by either sides.

[spacer height=”30px”]

Carolina Fernández of AS Chile  reports that Alexis has already told his teammates in the national team that he is about to become a City player.

[spacer height=”30px”]

It goes on to state that Bravo who is a City player and his nation teammate has already been informed about it.

[spacer height=”30px”]

According to La Tercera, another Chilean outlet claims Chile players applauded Alexis as he informed them about his transfer to Manchester.

[spacer height=”30px”]

Whatever seems to be the case here, one thing is for certain is that a lot is happening behind the scenes and Wenger’s red hot phone is really being put to tests by a number of anxious buyers or sellers.

[spacer height=”30px”]

Well if he does indeed move it wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world will it. A disinterested almost free agent player leaving for 60m will less than a year on his contract and us getting a replacement in the form of Thomas Lemar to make up for it.

[spacer height=”30px”]

Alexis Sanchez is huge but he’s not bigger than the club. Only messed up thing coming out of this is him moving to our direct title rivals.

[spacer height=”30px”]

Situation will definitely become clearer in the next couple of hours.
