Manchester United will look to record five successive wins in the Premier League for the first time since April 2021. Erik Ten Hag’s men have made a comeback since its horrific beginning with two opening losses against former Championship sides Brentford and Brighton Hove Albion. The Dutch manager has moved swiftly to reinforce his side by signing Casemiro and Ajax winger Antony. Manchester United have a good record against rivals City.

Injury/Suspension List:

Anthony Martial, Brandon Williams and Facundo Pellistri are unavailable due to injury, with Mason Greenwood still being suspended. Casemiro hasn’t started in Premier League yet and might get a substitute appeareance against City since Erik Ten Hag has used him sporadically to see out games. Erik ten Hag has been handed a big boost ahead of Sunday’s trip to the Etihad with Marcus Rashford likely to face a race gainst time to return from injury. Despite United’s recent resurgence, Manchester City are the bookies clear favourites for Derby day with significant odds being offered on them that you can make use of using Ladbrokes free bets before the Manchester Derby kicks off.

For the game, superstar Cristiano Ronaldo will most likely be on the bench with Rashford preferred over him and will look to make an impact as a substitute. Harry Maguire was seen limping in England’s game against Germany and is out of this game with a hamstring injury.

The visitors Manchester City also remain rather fortunate on the injury front, and Aymeric Laporte  who suffered his knee injury at Molineux last season should be back in action after the international break following his return to training. Jack Grealish will make way for Gundogan. Pep Guardiola looks set to be without John Stones, after the defender was forced off midway through the first-half while on international duty on Monday evening.

For United, Donny Van De Beek is out with a minor knock. Aaron Wan-Bissaka was also absent from the trip to Moldova due to an unspecified issue, but he could be an option for Ten Hag this weekend. Martin Dubravka also missed out on Slovakia’s recent fixtures after picking up a muscular injury, and it remains to be seen if the Newcastle United loanee can take up his regular spot on the bench here.

Haaland has been another talent in world football whose stocks are rising. Haaland has been phenomenal since coming to Premier League. Since joining Manchester City Haaland has become more dangerous and lethal. Haaland has so far scored 10 goals and one assist in the premier league. These 10 goals also included 2 back to back hat tricks. With a world-class team around him, Haaland has become a pro finisher and scored goals for fun in a Manchester City jersey. The Norwegian would cherish this opportunity to get home supporters roaring with an early goal against their rivals.
