Football’s next biggest thing, Erling Haaland, reportedly paid a personal visit to Arsenal’s training centre in London Colney.
The Norwegian has taken European football by storm this season making an impact for RB Salzburg in the league and in the Champions League. With 22 goals and 6 assists this season already, Erling Haaland seems to be following in Kylian Mbappe’s footsteps to become a top prospect in his teens. And with 7 goals already in the Champions League, he may end up achieving that.
Safe to say that whoever gets their hands on him will have a lot to work with. But at the same time, it won’t be cheap either. With Salzburg rating him at around £85 million, not many would risk signing a teenager at such a price range.
Nevertheless, Erling Haaland has still drawn in concrete interest from the very best of Europe with Manchester United said to be front-runners for his signature. As per Metro, the teenager’s father Alf-Inge Haaland visited Carrington to evaluate what the Red Devils have to offer his son. With experience playing for Manchester City and Leeds, Alf-Inge would know what to look for in a Premier League club.
Moreover, United believe they may be able to lure the young forward to Old Trafford through his connections to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer from their time working together at Molde.

Meanwhile, the same outlet recently reported that the Salzburg starlet made a similar visit to London Colney with his father, with the same purpose as his visit to the red side of Manchester.
With Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang stalling on a new contract, it makes sense to evaluate their replacements. The striker duo appear to be in wait to see where the club finishes this season as they grow impatient to play in the Champions League.
With life under Unai Emery looking bleak for Arsenal, the possibility of losing both of their striker by next season is quite real.

On the other hand, there is also talks of a move to RB Leipzig as the sister clubs aim to supply each other with players. Erling Haaland could make the move for as little as £27.5 million due to the clubs’ relationship — a fee very far away from the whopping £85 million valuation by his side.
The 19-year-old could be the best or worst signing of the coming years. It’s yet to be seen which club is willing to take that risk.
