Granit Xhaka has been linked with a a bumper £55 million move to Inter Milan by sources said to be close to him. But that may just be all bogus.
As per RSI, the Swiss is apparently on the verge of signing for the Italian sleeping giants. It is said that a figure close to the player with the Swiss international team at the UEFA Nations League believes he has agreed to make the switch. If the whispers were to be believed, Xhaka was questioned about the rumour during his time with national squad but he proceeded to make any comment on it, further throwing his future up in the air.
However, the internet did not care much for it until a certain cousin of the Swiss popped up on facebook claiming the switch to Milan was completed for £55 million. According to him, the midfielder chose to depart Arsenal due to their failure of qualifying for the Champions League.

Not only is the whole ordeal suspicious at first glance, it is clearly not from a reliable source.
Nevertheless, this sent fans into a frenzy leaving one side to rejoice over the profit the club would be making if the former Borussia Monchengladbach skipper gets sold, whilst the rest were disappointed to lose a vital part of the squad. In conclusion, the internet being the internet, chose to blindly believe this.
And turns out, very unsurprisingly, the Swiss international is not in any way related to this man. The man is named Argon Krasniqi and was just trying to prank people, knowing how gullible people browse the internet are. And there’s no doubt in the reliability of this new development as it was confirmed by Krasniqi himself.

Moreover, it looks quite unlikely that Xhaka would want to leave North London as he is a big part of the squad, is the very first name on the teamsheet every week and a captain figure in the eyes of Unai Emery. Moreover, the reliable Alfredo Pedulla has gone on to confirm there has been absolutely no contact between Inter and the playmaker.
