With Manchester United least likely to qualify for top-four whilst hopes for Europa League football also expected to diminish, provided they fail to acquire points over the remaining games, a favourable tie against Brentford provides the hosts with an opportunity to end the season on a positive note.

Although Rangnick remains without the services of several key players ahead of the tie, having shown an iota of promise over the last two fixtures, the Red Devils will be expected to register only their second win in over three Premier League outings on Monday.

With injuries likely to impede their prospects over the remainder of the season, United remain without the services of Harry Maguire, Edinson Cavani, Luke Shaw, and Paul Pogba for the tie against Brentford.
