Manchester United Vs Fulham has often been a one-sided encountered as in their last 16 games The Reds have managed to win 14 of those and drawn twice. But this has been a disappointing season so far for the Jose Mourinho managed side as they have struggled to get going.

After a hard fought 2-2 draw against Arsenal, the Red Devils would be looking forward to the game against the rock bottom-placed Fulham. Jose Mourinho’s side is currently on 8th position in the Premier League and 8 points adrift of the Top 4. Following a fighting performance against Arsenal, United will be looking to claim all 3 points against the fellow London side.

Fulham is struggling to replicate the success they achieved in the Championship last term. They have conceded the most goals in the Premier League so far and United would be looking to pile on their misery. They managed to win a point in their last outing against Leicester City. Ever since the appointment of Claudio Ranieri, Fulham has regularly improved and would be looking to cause a huge upset at Old Trafford.

Goalkeeper: David de Gea

The Spanish and Manchester United number 1 is likely to keep his place in the starting XI. Despite The Portuguese making many changes to his starting XI, he has featured in all games. Despite his howler against Arsenal probably costing his side a home win, he is likely to retain his spot.

Defenders: Ashley Young, Phil Jones, Chris Smalling, Diogo Dalot

Mourinho is expected to shift back to 4 defenders after playing with 5 against Arsenal. After getting his first Premier League start of the season and producing a below-par performance, Rojo is unlikely to start.

Ever since his Premier League debut, Diego Dalot has produced good performances and is likely to retain his place in the playing XI.

The center back pairing of Smalling and Baily is unlikely to be broken for the game. With Lindelof injured a change in the center is more unlikely.

Midfielders: Nemanja Matic, Ander Herrera, Paul Pogba

After benching Paul Pogba yet again, Jose Mourinho is likely to give the Frenchman a start at home against Fulham. Fred is unlikely to start after regularly ignored by the manager.

Impressive performance by Herrera against Arsenal is likely going to earn him a place in the starting XI again.

Ever since signing Nemanja Matic from Chelsea he has often been given a start by Jose Mourinho and that looks unlikely to change against Fulham as well. He has not been at his best off late but still is very likely to start.

FIVE Important Things That United Need To Build Upon From Their Game Vs Arsenal

Forwards: Anthony Martial, Romelu Lukaku, Jesse Lingard

Romelu Lukaku has often been benched is last few games after his struggles in front of the goal have continued. He hasn’t scored in the Premier League this season and is the major reason for him becoming out of favor. But Fulham have struggled with their defense throughout the season and Lukaku has often been very effective against lower placed sides and so The Portuguese may give him a start to give The Belgium much-needed confidence.

Martial has been very inconsistent throughout the season so far, but has produced few brilliant performances and is the leading goal scorer for the men in red. After starting in the last game, he is likely to get another start.

Jesse Lingard has played most of his minutes this season off the bench but with a goal against Arsenal, the Englishman is high on confidence and may start over Rashford. Alexis Sanchez is injured and unlikely to play again this year.
