Anthony Martial has had an indifferent season so far for Manchester United. He earlier struggled for game time after below ordinary performances but has found the back of net 4 times in the last 4 games. He has often been linked with a move away from the club after not getting enough starts.
The Frenchman did silence many haters after a brace against Chelsea which helped the club come home with a point from their trip to Stamford Bridge.

Anthony Martial was bought by Manchester United for a whopping £58m with add-ons, which was the highest ever transfer sum for a teenager, in 2015. Ever since he was bought by the Red Devils he has failed to show consistency in scoring goals. He has failed to justify the hefty sum that the club paid for him when he was just 19.
Then Manchester United manager, Louis Van Gaal said that he has a signing for future and won’t deliver for the club straight away. But even after having spent a little more than 3 years at the club and having played 147 games for the club, he has just 41 goals to his name.
Despite not being a very prolific player former Old Trafford star Bryan Robson feels that the Frenchman has the potential to become one of the Premier League Legends. According to the Red Legend, Martial has the mentality and skills to fulfill his potential and become a regular goal scorer for the club.
“For me, over the last month we’ve seen the real Martial, where you expect him to be, because he’s got so much talent,”
“He’s had a terrific month and hopefully, he can continue that all the way through the season now.
“Mentally, Martial just needs to get that little bit stronger to make sure he can do it week in, week out and not just have a good period for one month, then dip in form for a couple of months and then come back to form.
“If he can get stronger with his mentality and put performances in like he has been doing week in, week out then everyone will really appreciate him, and he is going to be one of the greats in the Premier League.
“We need it on a consistent basis and then that would be terrific for himself and for Man United.”

Anthony Martial certainly has an unfulfilled potential to be one of the best players of the generation but his constant failure to achieve has been a reason for constant criticism. His record against the top six in the Premier League has also been pretty ordinary. He has just 4 goals against the top six in the league.

But considering the fact that he is just 22 and has a long career in front of him where he can improve on his goal scoring abilities. The fantastic dribbling skills he posses makes him a very valuable player and a constant threat to the opposition defense. It may be too early to say if he can be a Premier League legend, but he certainly has the ability to be a great player.
