It would not be an exaggeration to state that Manchester United are in deep problems at the moment. It all started in the Summer Transfer Window when Ed Woodward didn’t fulfill José Mourinho’s wish list, instead only bringing in Fred, Youngster Diogo Dalot and third choice keeper Lee Grant and if the Pogba-Mourinho fiasco wasn’t enough, his issues with Sanchez are being reported in recent times.

This understandably made Mourinho angry which led to a series of bizzare press conferences, poor performance in friendlies, Fans on social media were quite vocal of this negativity Impacting United’s start to the season and once again they’ve been proven right. United have already lost 3 games in the Premier League, been knocked out of the Carabao Cup by 2nd Division side, Derby County and a dull 0-0 encounter with Valencia in the Champions League hasn’t pleased the fans.
The recent turn of events specially the draw with Valencia and the fallout from that game have even led to Jose being odds on to be the first manager to be sacked in the premier league this season for the first time ever in his career with various bookies like www.bettingsites.ng offering leading odds for Jose to be the first in the managerial sack race this season.
It’s only been 10 games in the season & United are 10th in the Premier League way off the pace behind The likes of Manchester City, Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal. Getting into the Champions League for the next season seems like a huge task.
Add to that off the pitch bust ups between José Mourinho and Paul Pogba have become regular occurrences in the British Newspapers, also the footage released by Sky in England showing and Argument between José and Paul haven’t helped United’s cause either.

Reported news about his feud with Sanchez has done nothing but added more fuel to the fire. Sanchez who was known to work relentlessly at Arsenal and FC Barcelona, has not been on song at all for United. José understandably is miffed with Sanchez due to his lack of output, a look at stats suggest how far Sanchez has fallen from his high standards at FC Barcelona and Arsenal.
For Sanchez, his goals per minute ratio tells the whole story! (Via Squawka)
FC Barcelona – 148 minutes per goal
Arsenal – 161 minutes per goal
Manchester United a staggering 653 minutes per goal.
Alexis Sanchez at United So Far :
3 Goals, 24 Matches, 1959 minutes played.
And just to remind fans that its was the arrival of Sanchez that put Martial on the bench, which started this downward spiral for Manchester United, Alexis’ minimal output on the Left wing coupled with the dropping Anthony Martial United’s only genuine left footed winger has stagnated Man United’s attack with Romelu Lukaku being left alone to win header’s to no good effect, and not everything is to be blamed on Sanchez.
Alexis Sanchez was deemed by many as a world class player at Barcelona and Arsenal but José Mourinho’s defensive tactics of tucking his wide players and not allowing them freedom has also been a major problem. Mauricio Pochettino wasn’t handed a single signing in the summer transfer window and yet has made his side a really competitive one.
Alexis Sanchez's night in one shocking stat:

José has to take a leaf out of Pochettino’s book and make the most of what he has and not make everything about himself, after all he is the Manager of Manchester United, the biggest football club in the world, He is following the footsteps of Sir Matt Busby and Sir Alex Ferguson and he isn’t the manager of Chelsea, there is a certain way a Manchester United Manager has to carry himself.
As for Alexis Sanchez, he has to find his abnormal scoring rate of his Arsenal days or else there are reports from various media outfits that he could be shipped back to Arsenal or can be sold to any other club considering his age and the big chunk part of the wage bill he is eating out. But if it has to do with Mourinho and his tactics, the Board has to sort this mess as soon as possible by replacing him by a manager who knows how to “Attack Attack Attack”.
