Sanllehi has worked with many internationally acclaimed players at Barcelona from 2008-09 season to 2017-18 season. Some players like Lionel Messi, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Sergio Busquests, Gerard Pique, Andres Iniesta and other Barcelona players too have thrived under his guidance. This opportunity can be prosperous to the newly led Arsenal team where Sanllehi could induce confidence and a lot of meaningful talks could be exchanged between him and the players.
This is what Raul Sanllehi said when he was appointed as the ‘Head of Football Relations’ at North London on 18th September 2018 as published on Arsenal.com.
“Although I joined Arsenal just months ago, I’ve felt embraced by this great club and part of its family from the first day,” said Sanllehi, following confirmation of his new role. “I will do everything possible to maintain our strong values which will be as fundamental to our future as they have been in our past.
“I sincerely thank Arsenal’s board for their trust in us and thank Ivan for bringing me to this great club, and for consistently supporting me every day, in every way. It’s with overwhelming pride and utmost excitement that I face this new opportunity.”
A flourishing experience for sure, for both the players and him as it is a new club, Sanllehi is yet to adapt to the English conditions. Being at the top of the ladder, he has the ability to emerge as a respectful leader and is expected to pave the path to glory in both domestic and in the European Tournaments.

Sanllehi got promoted as the director of football in 2008 and at the Camp Nou, he was responsible for closing the deals. His role in luring Neymar away from Brazil was significant, where he personally talked to the player and his father which enabled the deal to move on forward into its next stage.
At Arsenal, there has always been a deficiency in bagging the players and completing the paperwork of new players or rather, extending contracts of existing players. This could be eliminated with the involvement of Sanllehi at the top-tier of the club’s management.

With Aaron Ramsey’s contract getting over next year in 2019, Sanllehi is the sole man who can convince the Arsenal captain to stay and improve the club’s reputation which has been stooping low ever since they could not qualify for the Champions League.
Sanllehi is the man who can bring Arsenal out its flavour in his own way. With him by our side, we can expect wonderful signings by him in the coming years and his contacts all over the world will surel benefit us in the near future.
