3-4-2-1 | Defensive Due Given Greenlight As Arsenal Receive Huge Double Boost | Here Is The Exact Lineup That Can Rip Tottenham To Shreds vs Arsenal

Tottenham Vs Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur

Match Preview vs Tottenham Hotspurs

After scoring five past Bournemouth, The Gunners now face Tottenham Hotspur in the long awaited North London Derby at Wembley on Saturday.

This is a very important game for the top six as it could potentially change a lot of mathematics for the teams fighting for the third and fourth Champions League spots. A win here for Arsenal would leave only a point separating them and Tottenham Hotspur, who have lost to both Burnley and Chelsea in their last two Premier League games.

And Manchester United and Chelsea will both be having an eye on this game too.

Team News for Arsenal against Tottenham Hotspur

No new injury concerns for the Gunners as both Laurent Koscielny and Stephan Lichtsteiner are back in full training and have been given the green light ahead of the all important Derby vs Tottenham Hotspur.

Apart from that, Danny Welbeck, Rob Holding and Hector Bellerin are all recovering from surgeries and remain unavailable.

Predicted Lineup

Formation: 3-4-2-1

Goalkeeper: Bernd Leno

Bernd Leno will start for the Gunners in goal. The German has played his part well so far in big games for Arsenal and remains Unai Emery’s first choice.

Centerbacks and Full Backs: Maitland-Niles, Mustafi, Koscielny, Sokratis and Kolasinac

Given Tottenham’s firepower up front, Arsenal will enjoy a back three of Shkodran Mustafi, captain Laurent Koscielny and Sokratis. The trio will have to be at their absolute best if they want to stop the likes of Son and Kane from scoring.

Ainsley Maitland-Niles is fit again and will start as the RWB while partnering him on the opposite side, will be Sead Kolasinac at LWB.

Midfield: Xhaka, Torreira,

Granit Xhaka and Lucas Torreira will once again take responsibility in midfield for The Gunners. Matteo Guendouzi is likely to be on the bench after having played against Bournemouth on Wednesday.

It does not look like Mesut Ozil is a part of Unai Emery’s future plans and so I just can’t see the five time German Player of The Year starting for the Gunners in the NLD. Same with Aaron Ramsey. Cannot see him starting now that Mkhitaryan is back and playing well.

Forwards: Aubameyang, Lacazette and Mikhitaryan

Alexandre Lacazette has had a very good run lately. The Frenchman is scoring in almost every other game now. The striker was rested against Bournemouth so it is surely him leading the attack for The Gunners on Saturday.

Behind him, will be Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and his former Dortmund teammate Henrikh Mkhitaryan, who has two goals and three assists in his last two games for Arsenal.

Prediction for Tottenham Hotspur vs Arsenal

It is going to be difficult for Arsenal to get the better of a Tottenham team that will be looking to bounce back from two successive defeats. I expect it to be an entertaining North London Derby with both teams settling for a point after a 2-2 draw.
