Let’s take a look at the team news as Man United play Fulham in the Premier League at Old Trafford on Saturday.
The Red Devils are in great form at the moment, having won their last four matches in the Premier League. They are sixth in the league table with 44 points in 25 matches and are harboring top-four ambitions now. Manager Erik ten Hag should be a much-relieved man now that his team has started playing as per expectations.

On the other hand, Fulham are 12th with 29 points from 25 matches. They will definitely try to finish in the top half by the end of the season.
How Manchester United Have Lined Up Recently
The Dutch manager has been fielding his team in a 4-2-3-1 formation, with Kobbie Mainoo and Casemiro forming a potent combination as a double pivot.
Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho have started on the left and right flanks, respectively, and Rasmus Hojlund has been in great form as a centre-forward. Luke Shaw, Harry Maguire, Raphael Varane and Diogo Dalot have formed their back-four.
Changes We May See Against Fulham
We are unlikely to see much change in the Man United starting XI for the Fulham tie from the one that beat Luton Town last week. As mentioned earlier, the Red Devils should start with the same formation that they have been using throughout the season.

However, Luke Shaw, who suffered an injury against Luton and had to be taken off, might find it difficult to start against the Cottagers. Should the English left-back not be fit enough to start, Victor Lindelof might feature in the starting XI as the left-back.
Manchester United’s Recent Form and Tactics
United have won their last five matches across all competitions, thereby making up somewhat for a disappointing first half of the season. They are still alive in the FA Cup, but a finish outside the top-four in the Premier League will still be a below-par outcome for a team of their stature.
Erik ten Hag’s side have indeed been bolstered by Casemiro’s return from injury. His partnership with Mainoo has proved to be very effective for them and the defense has looked much more secure. Additionally, Dalot has also been coming up with solid defensive performances consistently, which has given them a further boost.

Goalkeeper Andre Onana, too, seems to be making amends for his underwhelming performance during the first half of the season. All of the above has contributed to United’s turnaround in 2024, but they will have to continue the good run to have a decent end to the season.
Garnacho and Hojlund’s brilliant form is another positive for Manchester United. Hojlund has now scored in the last six league matches on the trot, and Garnacho’s dribbling, passing and scoring abilities have come to the fore, too.

Manchester United Injuries to Consider
As mentioned earlier, Shaw is the only recent injury concern that Man United have against Fulham. However, there are players like Lisandro Martinez, Mason Mount and Aaron Wan-Bissaka, who have been nursing injuries for quite a while now. In addition to that, Tyrell Malacia has not featured in this season yet and it will take some time before he returns to training.
Man United Predicted Lineup vs Fulham
Andre Onana, Diogo Dalot, Raphael Varane, Harry Maguire, Victor Lindelof, Kobbie Mainoo, Casemiro, Bruno Fernandes, Alejandro Garnacho, Rasmus Hojlund, Marcus Rashford.
