Manchester United host Newcastle United this weekend as the Red Devils look to register their fourth consecutive victory across all competitions this Sunday. With the team having struggled for consistency despite the gradual improvement in results, Erik Ten Hag will be keen on witnessing a dominant performance at Old Trafford this weekend.

Currently sitting fifth in the league table, United will be looking to improve their standing before the World Cup break. Whilst much remains to be desired of the team’s performance on the pitch, Manchester United will be keen on delivering a compelling performance against Newcastle United this Sunday, with the team having registered four victories in their last five Premier League outings heading into the weekend.

Harry Maguire, Donny Van De Beek, Anthony Martial, Brandon Williams, Alex Tuanzebe, and Aaron Wan-Bissaka remain out of contention for the tie against the Magpies whilst Raphael Varane is expected to slot back into the starting line-up tomorrow.

Scott McTominay remains suspended for the fixtures having picked up five yellow cards in the lead-up to the tie while Casemiro is expected to retain his place in midfield for United. Christian Eriksen, too, is likely to slot back into the midfield after being rested for the fixture against Omonia whilst Jadon Sancho will be hoping to push for a starting place having delivered an impactful cameo in the Europa League on Thursday.

Goalkeeper
