Welbeck joined the Gunners from Manchester United in the summer of 2014, for a fee of around £16 million, but injuries have hampered his progress at the Emirates and hence his chances for the line-ups seem slimmer and slimmer with the growing competition.Although,he had a good season with the Gunners last season with some good performances in the Europa League. Welbeck scored 10 times for the Gunners and assited two, both of the assists coming in the Premier League.

With the English transfer window closed now, Arsenal are open to selling Welbeck outside England and are willing to listen to offers from other European League Teams. As reported by Express UK, Welbeck earns £115,000 per week and those wages would free up more space for Emery as he looks to tie Aaron Ramsey down to a new deal.

As for the future of the 27-year-old,Welbeck who has been looking at the exit sign since long, and was set to join Everton this summer, nothing can be said as such for now. Personally, one would think Welbeck he should try his options with other clubs and utilize his talent at a club where he would actually have some regular playing time.
