According to recent reports, Manchester United are one of the leading contenders to secure the services of Napoli striker Victor Osimhen this summer. However, the Red Devils face intense competition for the forward from multiple elite clubs across Europe that are looking to bolster their attacking line.

Victor Osimhen joined the Gli Azzurri in the summer of 2020. Since then, he has appeared in 100 Serie A games and accumulated 61 goals and 16 assists for the club (stats via Transfermarkt). Last season, the attacker played a crucial role in Napoli blasting their way to their first Scudetto win in over 30 years.

The 25-year-old has played a key role for his national team as well, having scored 20 goals in 27 games for Nigeria. His prolific numbers and finishing abilities have established him as one of the top strikers across Europe at the moment and made him a man of interest for many elite clubs in the upcoming summer transfer window.
