Manchester United have been in formidable form since the arrival of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. United have won impressively against Tottenham, Chelsea and Arsenal. In the Champions league too, United came from 2-0 behind in the first leg to win on aggregates in Paris during the second leg.
United’s defeat against the Wolves in the FA Cup can be termed as the worst defeat under Solskjaer. They were outplayed by a brilliant Wolves side. It was the first time under Ole that United displayed an absolutely poor performance.
The Red Devils go up against Watford after the International break and then against Barcelona in the Champions league. With the dilemma over the permanent manager appointment almost over, most likely, they can now focus on more important things like the transfer market in the summer.

With the current squad in need of a few reinforcements, United may look at a busy summer. And it looks like the Red Devils have begun their preparations.
United have already offloaded Marouane Fellaini to the Chinese Super League and Antonio Valencia is also set to leave Old Trafford this summer. And according to reports, Matteo Darmian could be another name to move out in the summer.
Vice-chairman Ed Woodward has also reportedly acknowledged the need of players to strengthen the squad in he summer transfer window.
But, speculations have also been rife about quite a few players moving out. The likes of Juan Mata, Alexis Sanchez and Eric Bailly are all being mentioned with a move out of the Theatre of Dreams. Rumours link Alexis Sanchez with a move away from the Red Devils. He was an expensive signing and the fans had high hopes from the Chilean. But, his failure to build a career at United and justify his wage bill, might be the prime reason why the winger is being touted to leave Old Trafford. Sanchez has been much of a stalemate and fans will be wondering if his time at the club is all but over now.
United have displayed poor defensive acts many a times during the campaign and are rightfully, being linked to get a quality centre-back this summer. And reports suggest that the Manchester United might be ready to listen to offers for Eric Bailly. The Ivorian has been moving in and out of the starting lineup under Solskjaer, and the management may as well be ready to let him leave at the end of the season.
Whatever the future may hold, but, one thing is certain that United will look to continue their good form under Ole and will try to compete for the title with the likes of Liverpool and Manchester City next season.
